Wow, I haven't shopped RDRAM for a while now... And I actually have a machine that uses it ... my impression is that it's outrageously priced compared to DDR. But I'm sure everyone will probably tell you that. I seem to recall RDRAM being a lot less late in 2002. I guess the supply is low these days? Not sure...

Good find. I bought 512MB of RDRAM 1066. Damn expensive. Anyone know if I can buy just one and use dummy cartridges or do I need to buy two pairs? I have 4 open slots and a Dell Dimension 8250.

Also, check googlegear.com. They have the same type (atleast for 1066), but its about $50 cheaper. But, it only has a one year warranty whereas DELL has a lifetime warranty on their RAM.

Yeah, I've got a Dell Precision 340 workstation that uses it, but it's so damn expensive that I haven't upgraded the memory from the "256 MB PC800 NON-ECC RDRAM (2 DIMMs)" that came with the system. I'd like to add another 256, but I'd also like to only pay aroun $50 for it :D
