I'm currently using Muskin ram and it stinks. Pc reboot when too many processes running @ one time.

Should I purchase 1 GB of Micron DDR 2700 Non ECC ram or 512 MB of Corsair DDR 2700 non ECC ram?

I mainly need it for great gaming performance. Games such as Call of Duty, Halo, and Half life 2.

Please advise.

I second the PC3200 suggestion. Also, if you're going to spend the money on PC3200, spend a little more and get the good stuff. I.E. Corsair XMS3200C2 or equivalent.

PC3200 ram is guaranteed to run at 200MHz (400FSB for AMD/800FSB for Intel) and will be compatible with either CPU manufacturer in the future. :) Your upgrade path will be covered.

My motherboard does not support 3200 Ram. It supports up to 2700

I don't want to spend over $150.

All inputs appreciated.
