Memory's darn cheap if you ask me. Cheapest around. $154 otherwise at Fry's outpost.com. LINK
Not a bad deal for the combo as well.
I'd suggest you run, not walk!

Is this $104 from this weekend's ad or what? Please post scan if possible.
I'm going to Portland this weekend. A couple of 512 DDR DIMMS will make up for 6 hours of rain in a heartbeat.

TIA

Its $104 in-store, not online :(

$104 online would bring DDR back into the "buy" price range for a lot of cheap people like me :(

alas, there is no Fry's in Florida!

remember - Fry's B&M prices are not always the same as online Outpost prices. and they don't pricematch each other either. and an item purchased from Outpost can't be returned at Fry's B&M stores. they're related, but they don't work together.

that's a really cheap price for the 512MB DDR. but some people complain of Fry's generic memory not working well (or not at all) in their computers and then they have to switch to name-brand stuff. YMMV

Hey DreDay,
Don't you guys have Brand's Mart USA or something over there? How are the prices compare to Fry's? Is still there, I wonder?

FYI - Test Fry's memory in-store at No Charge before you leave. Haven't had a problem since I learned of this "service."

Any one know if this sale is on at the Wilsonville, OR (just south of Portland) store?

Add is the same in Texas also, so, more than likely it is the same up there.

I just got a stick. 1 stick per customer. The ram is very crapy looking & from a company that I had never hear of. The chips are made by Lei & they're 7.5. It's running fine right now with my ECS K7S5 board (got it from Fry's too from the $99 combo earlier). So far so good.

I got the ECS k7S5A w/ XP1700 at fry a month or so ago, and got a stick of this ram today. It's doing 266 @ CAS2, and gets a very nice benchmark in Sandra. much better than my 256 stick made by the same company (LEI).

guys, if you live in cali or tx or someplace you can buy one for guys out on the east coast, shipping is only like $3.95 for a stick of ram!!! Hell, ship it friggin media mail and then slap on $1.10 insurance and you're done. Or priority plus insurance is like $5.10 total.

Any place have $0 tax and a Fry's and a kind soul? I'd definitely be willing to buy one, I'll pay for it via paypal or something. Or you can just buy one and when my money order shows up ship it. Pwweeasse?
