It depends on build and what the guy wants.
The guy can be a complete fat ass, 'normal build' (not fat or thin, just middle ground), ripped to shreads or medium/ thin built with muscle.
5"10 and 185lbs isn't that big at all for a trained guy. I'm basically that give or take 3-7lbs depending how much food I have been eating/ water drinking. Clothes or without. When you guys state weights you are weighing yourselves in the morning and naked (no shoes, clothes or socks) before any food right? If not I'm hitting 190lbs easily without much effort.
Personally I think I'm a bit too thin at times. I look emacicated sometimes when I wake up! I just think WTF?! Need to eat some more. I eat a decent amount of food and I train a lot and competitively (Olympic lifting, national standard). I don't want to be huge but want to eventually fill out to a 187lbs of athletical machine . This would mean walking around around 194lbs. I'm in no hurry to gain weight at all, as long as I hit it before the 2012 Olympics.
If you don't train much then most guys at 185lbs will generally be fat at 5"10 imo.

Me at 81.8Kg weigh in. Then I eat some food and I drink some water and wear clothes and I am up to 84.5Kg easily
. 83Kg without clothes or so.
Some girls have said I'm too big, but I just want to lift more and keep a decent bodyweight (for my weight class) and not put on weight that does't add more to my lifts.
