50C average cpu temp w/ 1 ghz Athlon T- Bird and FOP 32-1

With a Global Win FOP32-1 HSF on a 1ghz Athlon T-Bird processor I'm getting a average temp of 50C with the Asus Probe software. Is that too high?

Provided that you are using a later bios, the reading is not too high.


With an older bios, it could potentially be a bit warm, but still really nothing to worry about.

I'm using the 1004D BIOS, because that's what came with my board.

I can't really tell you. I can't hear it, but that's because my case fans are a little loud.
