Ha! I had him on my waiver pickups for fantasy, but luckily another pickup was in line ahead of him.
Glad I didn't get him. :)

Blah blah Football Player does something stupid and/or illegal. Must be a day ending in 'y'.

I think this is now a Winona Ryder thread.

We already had a thread on this where we discussed the challenges of surviving on 400k. It isn't easy. And 500k is only marginally better. The poor man is clearly afflicted with Affluenza and did not know any better. May he get off lightly.

sports figure? pretty much off scott free

And in Washington they think the average medium household income is $250,000.00. And think they are poor if they don't have a million a year salary.

Surprised they stopped him. I thought stores pretty much stopped trying to confront shoplifters for safety reasons

Besides safety, he was a rookie and they probably had no idea who he was too.

That mall is literally 10 minutes up the road from me. It's a haven for teenagers...just a bunch of bored security guards racial profiling. No other reason why they'd be watching the cameras to begin with at that mall.

I use Cologne given as gifts as air freshner. A spritz of Giancarlo Ferre in the living room gets rid of the new kid smell ><

smells quiete nice as well. Doesnt linger AND isnt filling the room with fake chemicals.

People can do crazy stupid stuff no matter how much money they make.

I've seen this a lot in business, especially with Type A entrepreneurs & managers. They start out with the goal to get rich & buy the associated lifestyle toys (big house, shopping sprees for the spouse, nice cars, luxury vacations, etc.), but in doing so, the pursuit of money becomes habit over time. Then when they achieve their goal, they're so used to chasing it that that's what they keep doing. Enough is never enough, I guess because of habit.

Come to think of it, I've seen the same thing in dating, especially with my fellow geeks. We get programmed by TV that girls are to be chased & put on a pedestal, but again, the Type A personalities are the ones who are going out & getting the girl while a lot of geeks perpetually live in the friendzone because they're chasing an idea rather than achieving the goal (i.e. getting a date). But that's a whole different thread :awe:

That's actually a pretty good idea. Although I use bacon...fry a big panful up in a cast iron pan on the stovetop for 20 minutes & your house will smell amazing :awe:
