Got a link to this in the OWC newsletter:

They're selling the new Samsung M6 500gb 5400rpm 2.5" 9.5mm SATA laptop drive ahead of everyone else, with the catch that they have to be sold in external enclosures for now until there is a general release. So if you're itching for a 500-gigger for your laptop, here's a way to get into it quick! iirc the MSRP is $299. The most inexpensive model from OWC currently is the USB 2.0+eSATA enclosure for $309.99:

Unlike other 500gb laptop drives on the market, this will fit ALL Mac laptops (the other ones are a non-standard 12.5mm thick). I have a pair of their 250gb Mercury 2.5" external drives and they are great. They are a little bit more pricey than other options, as well as larger than most notebook drive enclosures, but they are guaranteed to work off of bus power - I have never had a problem with them running off USB, unlike most of my other enclosures.
Anyway, you can rip the drive out and use it as your primary boot drive in your MacBook, MacBook Pro, and even your Mac Mini. Thought I'd pass this along
