5000+ black edition overheating

Hi i just put in my new 5000+ black edition into my Abit KN9 570SLI and i'm reading 57c in my bios. I have Arctic Silver 5 on it as well as an Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 pro at 2200rpm. i've put my hand on the heatsink itself and it doesn't feel as hot as it should seem...but with the cpu/hsf combo i have it should at least be in the 40c range.

Am i crazy or is my temperature reader broken?
