That seems reasonably hot for 1/2 a TByte. Wonder if there is any review on this particular HDD.

I guess one reason for the ho hum reception is the fact that the listed cache size under the tech spec is only 2 Megs! That's pretty small for such large capacity drive. Most drives these days have at least 8 Megs of cache, with many of them listing 16 Megs of cache.

Thanks a lot of storage for that price.

I guess 2MB cache is OK for just a "backup" drive...
