Makes me wonder about some people.

If dead animals qualify as cared for, hate to see the not cared for.

BOWIE, Texas - Nearly 500 dogs, some with skin conditions and open sores, have been seized from a Texas kennel where the Humane Society says several dead animals also were found.

Authorities in Montague County about 90 miles northwest of Dallas took the dogs from Maggic Pets/Heddins Kennel after complaints the animals weren't receiving proper veterinary care.

Cloyce Heddins' wife owns the kennel. He tells the Fort Worth Star-Telegram the dogs are cared for and says authorities had bad information, possibly from disgruntled customers.

But Sandy Grambort with the Humane Society says authorities found several dead animals and seized others that were ill. She says dogs were found in crates double-stacked in outbuildings, as well as in outdoor pens and kennels.

sounds like a puppy farm.

its amazing how some that claim to care for animals will treat them.

That's sad. Why have all the dogs if you don't care for them? What's the point!

Either a hoarder or a puppymiller. A hoarder is a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic and a puppy miller is looking to produce as many puppies as possible.

The rescue group I work with recently received a couple of dogs that came from a puppy mill in MO. They spent their whole lives in a cage having puppies. Sweet dogs but will never be able to handle a lot of normal interactions and will more than likely spend their whole lives at their foster homes.
