Perfectly legal with the factory flash.

with rolling-key firmware

No such beast yet. Can't autoroll Nagra 2 keys yet.

to pull in DishTV feeds. Illegal?

Umm, encrypted channels??? Yup, illegal.

I have a lot of experience with setting FTA up, but I'm not familiar with the media protection laws concerning it. Just assumed it was illegal. This guy's setup definitely sounds sketchy.

The satellites listed in the article are free European sats. Notice how it's mentioned that he "subscribes" to DishNet and DTV

And as I mentioned in my earlier post, a motor with a large enough dish would solve that clutter.

Well I figured factory flashes were legal, otherwise manufacturers would have a hard time marketing them. I've been out of the FTA loop for almost a year now so I have no idea what's going on.

I see the part about his subscriptions now, so basically the rest of his array is just to pull down unencrypted foreign feeds? Wooo German porn!!
