I can see spending money on education and energy, but all the department of homeland security has even been is the department of homeland pork distribution.

Lets see, hmmm, which President came up with the not very bright idea of homeland security?

The Dept of Homeland Security is a very good IDEA. (Unless you're LL, then it's a lot brighter to have mile wide intel gaps between organizations and such organizations not knowing what the hell the other is doing. After all, it worked so damn well before)

First priority should be getting rid of the illegals. Then, bust the unions. Only then can we worry about education, energy, homeland security. The economy takes priority over other issues. A healthy economy tends to solve many problems.

Pu + Pu = WIN
If you're insinuating that nuking would be a viable strategy for dealing with world terrorism, let me just suggest that your idea is roughly as workable as your understanding about how atom bombs work... You don't cause nuclear explosions by smashing plutonium atoms together.

Also, nukes are hardly precision instruments, and would of course not claim only those victims we'd prefer, but also anyone who happen to be anywhere in a ~25km radius (or possibly more), along with infrastructure, wildlife etc.
