*EDIT* cheapest method for shipping (ups ground) is $5 to NJ. $14.50 for 50 cd's, that's pretty common these days...

Thanks for the deal. I ordered 2 packs. $6 for shipping. BTW, the jewel cases are not the single CD jewels, they are 10 CDs per jewel case, each in a sleeve. I'd actually prefer this but thought I'd make that clear.

I ordered these same ones and they work fine on a Plextor 8x and a Sony 4x. Read fine in every CD player I own.

who's the manufacturer of these cdrs?...i just bought 2 50pks of fugi (japan...the good ones...ty ones) yesterday at circuit city. they end up costing $8 per 50 pak (with the rebate)...i went back a couple hours later and they were all sold out..i left 3 paks there...also, they have the tdks that end up being free (with rebate) but they were sold out of those when i was there. i wonder if the tdks were the good ones or not?...also, i was under the impression that the good cdrs said "certified plus", but yesterday (can't remember where...i went to so many stores) i saw a pak of tdk 100% certified (not the plus ones) that were made in japan...has anyone else noticed this?...vroom

The Ricohs are made by Ricoh.

Be careful of the US Made TDK Certified Plus CDRs. They used to have a good rep, but lately the reflective layer has been peeling off and when I burn with my Plextor 8x, I get static on the last 10 to 15 minutes on about 60% of the burns. No static with any other media.

Even better if the MasterCard discount still exists because it's not a "geek special" so the 10% discount would apply. Good deal.
