I bought meself a pack just earlier today. It rang up as 29.99 but luckily my firend caught it and we had to show the clerk where we got it. She then kindly rung it up for 19.99 ^_^

now, just gotta mail in the rebate form. woo hoo!
although, I still like the 100pk TDK 74min for $39.99 on buy.com with free shipping till sunday (add something to make balance $50) cuz of the $20 rebate from TDK =D

can someone answer this question? WTF is a raincheck (in the context of Compusa and this rebate)? Do I need this in addition to the receipt and UPC?

Raincheck- (n) A piece of paper you might be given by a manager when a product is out of stock; said paper states that bearer will be able to purchase product at advertised price when product is back in stock.

You do not need this. If, as you imply, you have the rebate form, why not just read it and in that way determine what is required?
