Just got these. Adaptec easyCD and Nero won't let me even select a speed higher than 2x. I'm using the popular plextor 12/10/32, IDE. When I pop in the 10x rated cd-rw that came with the drive the programs let me choose to write at 10x, 8x, or 4x. But other than being limited to 2x, these cd's seem great to me. No problems so far.
