This may be a bit off topic, but as it says 800MB in the header..
The problem with the high capacity CD's is not so much the burning but the READING of them.
While burning, a special closed loop mechansim follows the (narrower) tracks and maintains the psoition. And the light beam is more focused also while burning.
But at playback, most drives will face problems.
I did try several high cap CD's, and so far I had no good results with "normal" CD Drives. Even if I use the same drive with which I had burned the CD.
I got some better readback from newer DVD/CD combo drives. But even with those, while reading, the track gets "lost" sometimes resulting in several seek repositioning runs.
Not worth the price/problems.
