From the picture I'd guess these are Hi-Val's. The spindle and shrink wrap look identical along with the white paint face.

I used to buy a lot of them, always liked them.

the only CDR medium that i've read as rated for a 100+years lifespan is the gold alloy writing surface. green is like 30 or something considerably less and silver/blue only has unsubstantiated claims of being very comparable to the gold variety. I need to reread some of that information, but that's what i remember. dunno anything bout HiVal's...

$6.00 shipping is quite a hit, but if you need more than one spindle it only seems to add $1 or so for the additional ones which averages out OK.
