The only problem I have with this deal is that we really have no way of knowing whether they're "giving" us $50 or not... since they control when a price gets accepted. I've tried to get tickets repeatedly during their past $50-off promotions, by subtracting $50 from low fares I've received from them in the bast. Got nothin'.

I know there are a lot of factors. My point is... wish there was some guarantee you were really getting $50 in bonus money.

Are there any current Priceline.com deals? I tried this one, and obviously it's outdated. Also, what other airplane ticket sites should I check into? I've tried expedia.com, lowestfare.com, and southwest.com. Help me!!!!

THIS IS HOT DEAL!!!

I placed a bid when they had this deal back in August.
I bid on 2 roundtrip tix from Buffalo, NY to Tampa, FL.
I bid $75 per ticket (actual bid put in by Priceline was $125 - my $75. + their $50.).
They accepted and I got my tix for $75/ea. + taxes ($99. total each).
I went in October, flew Delta, one layover each way - worked out great!

Too bad I didn't have any tix before this last week!
All this f&@ing snow up here in Buffalo is killing me!!
