Just keep in mind that dominos is really terrible. Like I wouldn't eat it for free bad. sorry for thread crap, just don't want anyone getting indigestion unnecessarily. I think it's fine until you hit like 25. After that point the downside is greater than the cheapness upside.

They're the only place in town that makes a Gluten-free pizza, and they charge like twelve bucks with toppings for a small 10". Actually not bad tasting :awe:

Mostly rice flour and sawdust (not kidding about the sawdust - google Avicel sometime):

Ingredients: Water, Rice Flour, Rice Starch, Potato Starch, Olive Oil, Evaporated Can Juice, Tapioca Flour, Potato Flour, Fresh Yeast, Avicel, Salt, Calcium Propionate (Preservative).

Basically just an ultra thin-crust pizza. Tastes pretty decent too. I can't have dairy either, so I just load mine up with meat & veggies:

I find Domino's to be the least evil of the big chain pizza places. Their online order experience is fun, they offer a ton of options for ordering anything (as noted above, and including anchovies!), have the best crusts of the big boys (Brooklyn = :D) and are pretty well priced relative to Papa John's (who isn't getting another penny out of me until they muzzle and fire their psycho founder).

Curious, are prices regional ?
Even with 50% off, to pick up 1 large with pepperoni & olives is $8.

$7.86 here. They get you on toppings.

If you're going for price/performance, the 16" seems to be by far the best deal. A 14" is .765 the area, but seems to be .871 of the price.

Too bad nearest Domino's is 20 miles away.

Here, it comes to $6.59 for a large (14") three topping pizza.

Excellent deal! Thanks for the heads up, OP.

Just came back from getting my stash and man, I've gotta say... the Pacific Veggie is dope. Looks like something out of a pizza magazine too.

The only ingredients needed make perfect pizza dough: yeast, salt, water, olive oil, flour. Thanks for the information on avicel, actually worth more to me than 50% off Domino's Pizza. :)

based on the order in which it was listed the avicel is likely less than a few % of the total volume/mass of the ingredients. dont know where they are extracting it from but its just cellulose fragments as a bulk filler agent. there are tons of fillers in all kinds of foods.

D: WTFBBQ?! I was curious so I took a look and this is what I got:

1x 16" Brooklyn meat pizza carry out:

$17.25 + $1.48 tax = $18.73
You saved $17.24

I'll go to papa smurfs and get 2x 16" 6lb double stack pizzas for $24 after tax.

my wife is sensitive to gluten and corn. but, apparently, sawdust is just fine, since she hasn't had any negative reaction to Domino's gluten free pizza's.

Yeah - dairy, gluten, corn for me. Fortunately I'm not Celiac, so being made in a facility that processes gluten doesn't kill me. As lame as a gluten-free, dairy-free pizza is, it's still nice to have something that resembles pizza (and that I don't have to cook!).

That's faint praise...I haven't touched Domino's for over 20 years now...mostly the same for other big chain pizza too. If you are buying chain pizza, you aren't trying hard enough to find good pizza. Domino's is NOT it. bleh
