WhatsHotNow has a "private" 50% off sale
Link: http://www.whatshotnow.com/newyork

This isn't really a private sale, since they sent out the links to all the affiliates. Anyway, you can get a good deal on a Color Gameboy with this. The regular price is $69.99 and it will work out to $35 after the 50% off. Great buy for Christmas or for anyone really.

Go through the private sale link first, and then click on:
http://www.whatshotnow.com/servlet/com.precision.commerce.templates.ProductTemplateServlet?ProductKey=4364&MetaCategoryKey=6&BrandKey=24 to to go the Gameboy Color page.

FWIW-
WHN is suck. I remember ordering DC stuff from them...and getting it 3 months later. Looks like they have gone the buy old stuff (software), sell overprice, offer discounts route...I'll put money on them going under soon.

Agreed, these guys suck. Nothing is EVER in stock, and their prices on some items are outrageous.

Damn man. You ordered a lot! But you forgot one thing...you can take $50 off your order. Remember SegaNet's $50 Dreamcast rebate thing. Its up till August 31, 2000 :)

I would love to get hold of the rebate. My calendar says it's past August 31 tho. :)

Is there another I can use that is still valid?

Their current rebate is for $150. Too bad you have to sign up for Sega.net for a 3 year contract. If you're still using modem access in 3 years, I pity you.

WHN did come through with an order I placed last week . . . though the video game stuff I ordered was not included . . . so who knows.

When the sale went up last week, they did not have the Gameboy or Dreamcast listed, so the fact that they were posted yesterday suggests that they are actually in stock. Many people on other boards are talking about receipt of their orders in as little as three days.

They do not have those Game Boy systems in stock. They claim they just didn't update the site. They are going to take the temporary authorization off of our credit cards because my GF told them she didn't want her credit line tied up for stuff they had no intention of shipping right now. Also, by the time the conversation was over they said we would get the Game Boys when they did come back in stock for the 34.99. They thought they would get a shipment in 3 to 4 weeks.

Given their past history I am not sure we will ever see those systems. However, if you want one for 34.99 get your order placed and documented before they take it off the site.

I hope they come through. I haven't been back to their site in a long time. After logging in, I saw that I had over 6000 HOT$! I used them up to give me another 50% off the 50% off price. I just used them all up, hopefully I get the stuff.

I ordered a Color Gameboy, 2 games, and 2 N64 game for a total of $65.00. I hope this works!
