50 GC from Egghead for RAM screwup, new info

I saw the last thread and decided to start a new one b/c that thread was too full of garbage. Quite frankly, I think people should apologize to the originator of that post. Many people just badmouthed him and told him that he was full of sh*t without any basis at all.

Well, I just got off the phone with Egghead's executive customer service department (1-877-855-4873) and I DID GET MY $50 GC. Just explain to them that you think that you were treated unfairly. I just got the GC in my email. So, could we give the last guy a break?

So, for all ya who placed the orders and had them cancelled, just give the egghead people a call and get at least something out of this fiasco.

Just spoke with the service rep....no offer for a certificate.

I even pushed by saying that I ordered the pieces overnight due to a project I needed them on....nothing. I then asked is EggHead doing anything to make it up for the customers....they just quoted pricing policy.

I had put two orders in. One for 8 pieces ups ground and one order for 8 pieces overnight delievery....almost $900 total....

My two cents....
