Sad that a positive article come from the U.K. and none originating from the U.S.

Does this surprise you?

No it doesn't because your Republican hero Murdock owns the media here.

Dave you're hilarious. You claim that Murdock is my "Republican hero"? You're funny. Thanks for the lols :).

It's a fluff piece. As much as I like Obama I wouldn't give this a second glance in a newspaper if I saw it in the States, it's like an article I would find in a teen heart throb magazine. Most of these were already discussed or mentioned in the many articles on Barack in the early stages of his campaign.

" He promised Michelle he would quit smoking before running for president ? he didn't "
Nice to know he breaks promises just as freely to his wife as he does the American People.

Apparently, you never smoked... or ran a campaign that defeated both the Clinton and Republican machines while trying to quit. Give the guy a break.

Some of these seem too much like what someone wants you to believe.

Such as his music choices. Miles Davis for the blacks, Bob Dylan for the 60s liberals, Bach for the intellectuals, and The Fugees for the younger crowd.

Oh, cool. We have the same shoe size.

He can bench 200#! I once tried to bench 205 and never tried again (fucked up my elbow, ouch!). He carries himself like a guy who works out a lot. Agile, energetic.

Interesting post. Thanks, OP.

Also, he uses a BlackBerry 8700c. I should tell my former boss at RIM to send him a better one - an urban elitist liberal like him should only be seen with the newest swag.

If this tidbit is true, then:

He knew he was going to be under extreme stress. He still made a promise, that 99.99% of people would find difficult to keep at the best of times. He didn't say "I'll try" or even an "I'll do my best", but said "I WILL." And then he failed.

So basically, he made a promise to his wife that he knew he had virtually no chance of keeping.

Lying may be okay to you, but I hold the PRESIDENT of the U.S. to a very high standard. And Barack just failed before he even got started.

I suppose it's not all his fault. I've come to believe that lying is so endemic to the culture of our upper echelon politicians, that they don't even think it's wrong anymore.

How do you know what exactly he said to Michelle? I thought I saw him chewing gum last week. Maybe he's trying to quit smoking.

LMAO!! I just watched my sarcasm meter and my moron meter both staring at each other. Finally, the sarcasm meter shrugged it's shoulders and pegged a 10. Please don't tell me I need to upgrade the firmware in my meters.

Were you expecting him to say Tupac, P.Diddy, Cash Money, The Game and NWA?
