After listening to the samples on Amazon...
meh I say!

The original recording of Your Love by The Outfield was far superior
UB40 cover was just poor. That song should not be sung in reggae
Ghost in You was ok, problem was that the song was terrific because of Tim Butler's "haunting" vocals on the original
The only semi-decent song of the samples I heard was the Ziggy Marley cover of "Drive" by the Cars.

Gah! The Every Breath You Take Cover is downright awful.

I agree the cover of Drive is decent.

It's weird that the very last song which played at the end of the movie when they were sailing away is not listed on the soundtrack. If anyone is interested in that song it's called "Somewhere over the rainbow - Isreal Kamakawiwaole"

Wait I'm confused... does that mean that 80's music is better than everything current aside from techno? Or it's better than everything current, especially techno?

Should I feel embarrassed that I DJ electronic music? (I'm not, I actually really like doing it but that's beside the point)
