The obvious question ; is this rebate valid for any upgrade edition ?

Just a heads up: people in this thread (which may get locked) are saying that the coupon is only good for the full version of Pro not the upgrade.

The rebate form does not specify a version limitation. Bill Gates has lawyers, if he wanted to exclude any versions he would have. He excluded the home version. This sounds like the $53 deal is only for x,y,&z company story.:|

Good Deal Snowflake.

At this, I dont intend to use XP, as I am content with W2K (no BSOD, crashes, lockups, etc), but I did attend the launch in Detroit. Excellent presentation, many freebies, T shirt(s), sweatshirt, snacks and refreshments, interesting literature and brochures to peruse at my leisure.

To top it all off afterwards I went to OD to pick up your 20G Maxtor deal. I was having problems getting it ordered from the website, so I brought them a printout and they honored the deal !!
