An online investment brokerage firm, ShareBuilder , is offering a $50 credit to your newly opened ShareBuilder account, within 4 weeks of your initial transaction. There are no account/investment minimums, and it is only $2 per transaction. It says you must fund the account and purchase at least one security. I'm just starting off in the investment game, so I'm not sure how well this works, or even whether this is a reputable firm - it says that this offer can be terminated at any time, though the promotional end date is 11/30/00. I haven't tried this yet, so I can't verify the validity of the promotion, or guarantee that you won't incur additional charges or contract fees. Like I said, this is all unfamiliar territory for me...it's my first Hot Deal post, and I'm just putting it out as a heads-up for those-in-the-know, who might be able to put this to good use. (And if it does turn out to be a hot deal, can you explain to me how to make it work for me? Hehe, thx)

It appears to be a "GotApex?" associated offer, though I received it through spam from ShippingOnly.com. Eh?
