come on now... one the one hand i hated him last year but i read a handful of interviews with him and listened to a lot of his stuff (my bro is really into it) and first off; he never claims to be a 'musician', he's a rapper - and a damn good one. like seriously, his lyrics for the most part are pretty witty and his flow is really good... also he admits to marketing his own image all the way from the start and sure i dont necessarily approve, but cmon, he did a good job, he has sold millions and no matter how many haters are out there he wont go away.

furthermore, the impression i get from the article is that he never planned to make a video game and it was only until after he got invited to be the voice for the lead role in San Andreas that he decided to make his own game instead...
