I received this Blockbuster/MCI promotional letter in the postal mail today. It's touting a Free $50 gift card for use at Blockbuster retailers for switchin to MCI.
I went through the process to change to MCI service(I don't even have a local telephone, only a cell phone). I used my 3 month old/defunct telephone number and changed, activated that card and spent the $50 in a matter of 30 minutes. I went and stocked up on pre-viewed DVDs.
I checked around for links on the Blockbuster and MCI websites, but if they are up there they are well hidden. Considering this offer came via snail mail it may only be good for those privelaged to receive it.
