50,000 miles, 2003 chevy 1500

So, I've done nothing but oil changes. Should I do a lube?

My last truck made it 90,000 miles on nothing but oil changes before I traded it in. The heater core crapped so I just traded it in.

I could care less for shocks, etc. As long as the damned thing runs. Anything I should really consider doing?

coolant and tranny fluid change;
check brakes,inner side of rotors often are much worse than the outer,easier to see side.

Agree that the tranny fluid might be a smart change. Collant is debatable though. Maybe though.

4 wheel disc brakes, not to worried about them. Pads arn't worn yet (mostly highway driving)

I grease all the points on the steering EVERY time I change the oil. It's easy to do - moreso if you pull the wheel off to make getting at the upper and lower ball joints easier.

jack up the truck though before you grease it, allows you to get to them easier and it also allows you to actually get grease in them. but yes grease them.

the other things really arent necessary yet on your car.

maybe put an injector cleaner through the gas tank but thats it.

tranny fluid is rated for 100k miles in a 2003 chevrolet truck. pull out the maintenance schedule from the book in your glove compartment

EDIT: fuel filter/air filter and just CHECK fluid levels, no need to change them yet.
