Actually, Intel boards are decent, STABLE boards that are very good for systems that won't be overclocked and won't be upgraded too much.

Intel boards (with the exception of
a few notable flubs, like the CC820) are
EXTREMELY stable. If you want to run a 24/7 mission critical server,
you would be foolish to not consider Intel (and very foolish
to consider most of the AMD favorites).

And here's an interesting aside: Sure, stock Intel boards don't
support overclocking. But did you know that internally Intel
has produced BIOS versions for a lot of their boards that DO
allow all kinds of overclocking tweeks? Sure would be nice
to get one's hands on one of those!
