If I worked full time at my current job I'd make enough money to live in this area and I only have a high school diploma. So yes there are jobs available for them.

Metaphorically speaking, of course. I just have no sympathy for people who do not contribute to society as a whole.

With regards to the current situation: The videos on the OP's link are too chaotic to determine what happened. Sounds like innocent people got hurt/killed, and hopefully all those who perpetrated this are brought to justice.
