I was just looking at switches and noticed that. It doesn't look to be the highest-quality switch, but for $5 shipped after rebateall it needs to do is work IMO.

If u like having to troubleshoot odd netowrking problems that seem to randomly crop up... only to power-cycle a switch/hub to resolve it, go for it....

No, this switch is not reliable as a troubleshooting device. Read the reviews, its horrible...

The weird thing is that the 5-port switch from ABS, here, is the same price after rebate, and it has nothing but glowing reviews! So if you can stand having 3 fewer ports, that might be a better choice.
