5 nodes on a 4-port broadband router?

I have an extra generic 10mbps 4-port hub, plus my new 4-port broadband router. Do I just connect the hub to one of the router ports to get more nodes?

Yup.
Make sure you use the proper cable (crossover or regular, depending on if the extra hub has a uplink port)

Yup just that simple. Using cat5 cable connect the Hub to the router using either the UPLINK port or a crossover cable.
