How's the sequel? Indiegala has it on sale with 4 other games for $1.89 for the next 18 hours or so.

Any improvements over the original or just more of the same?

The 1st game was also on an Indiegala bundle awhile back. I went ahead and add this to my backlog.

I need to pick this up; my son 8 years old is obsessed with this game. It also scared the crap out of him. I'm going to pick it up to check it out as the premise of the game sounds pretty damn sweet and fact its cheap :)

You would get your EIGHT year old a game full of killer animatronics posessed by the souls of murdered children?? Might as well get some Freddy Krueger, Chucky & Friday the 13th movies in there too and really mess 'im up good. ;)

...then again, no 8 year old is going to be reading the posters on the wall, or notice some of the more obscure things that add to the "creepiness" -- if you're paying long enough attention to even see them.

No; I've not let him play this game; he's seen it on robloxs; and ex wife's boyfriend bought a version of this on his ipad and Aidan's watched it.....

He wants to watch horrors with me; but I know they would scare the crap out of him. Now normal part of me thinks thats part of growing up *older brother did it to me; and I love horrors because of it* the small part that wants to be responsible parent..voice of not just seems to be winning for now :D

I want the game for myself......but he's watched me play last of us among a few other games....he knows they are fake as he also love zombie games; watches and plays lfd2 with my group aka friends who know how to handle him.....:)

I know what will scare him so I actually try to be the responsible parent but sometimes....hits hard :D

Sent this to a buddy who actually worked at a CEC back in high school (he's an accountant now). He grabbed this today and is trying it out.

Still not sure if this game is more or less scary than actually being in a CEC, but the game looks great. ;)

My son just mentioned this game last night -- he's 13 and dying to buy 1 & 2 off STEAM.

Before I buy any game, I always try it out or watch a Let's Play on Youtube.

Always.

I did enjoy Markiplier's fantastic let's play, I really did. In fact, I enjoyed it so much I decided I didn't want to buy the game after all. I don't feel I'm losing out either. It's just one of those games where it's really not much of a muchness, despite the intensity of the experience.

I then proceeded to watch SplatterCatGaming's fantastic LP of NEO Scavenger and bought the game after episode 15 or something like that. So it's not my problem necessarily, it's just that this game is...

Short?

I don't feel that adjective wholly encompasses the complexity of this game (or lack thereof).
