1499.. that's not too bad... I've seen Digital SLRs that range up to the $10K + range w/ a higher MP count too.. I think higher, gonna check up on that.

Its about the price you will pay for a top of the line(?) and the pioneer of 5 mil pixel cam...

and obviously there is not much competition at 5 mil pixel so it is "dominating" the market right now.
