I just got a 5"LCD monitor from Cries, I mean Fry's it has a S video hook-up is there a way to adapt it to vga, using a cable or box of some kind?

Well if it's S-Video then hook it up to the TV-out of your graphics card. You might want to use a graphics card
that can run the TV-out as a separate head - like SiS 315, ATi Radeon 7000, 7500, 8500 series (not 7200!),
many of the NVidia cards, Matrox Marvel G450 eTV, and many others that escape me.

That said, I could use one of those displays ... would you tell me make and model?

hey fixedbyjohn , I am VERY interested how will your 5" LCD work with a PC... Can you post your results once you set it up ?

As for connecting , just use S-video output from your video card, and it should work , just like a TV.. However Im wondering what MAX resolution you'll be able to use on 5" LCD.......

So can you post your comments once you do it ?? How clear the Text and images are , what is the Max resolution you can use, Refrashe rate etc
