$5/gal works for me. I need a new used truck this year, high gas prices will drive down the cost. I have a work car so the mileage I put on my personal vehicle is very low. Heck I haven't started my car in a week.

just because something is predicted does'nt mean you can cope with it as the other guy was suggesting

for a lot of people who may have suffered financial setbacks through job loss, they won't be able to maintain

I wasn't suggesting that individuals should have planned for it, I was saying the country should have.
