Just got the flier w/ coupons in the mail today! Don't know if coupons are required for the deal, but 5 Roast Beef Sanwiches for 6 bucks is not something one should pass up....

5 for 5 here, beef 'n cheddars. i went though, and the burgers sucked. they used to be so much higher quality, now it's just like they throw it together...not worth it at all any more.
Yeah, I think the Arby's sandwiches have shrank in size over the years....they used to pile up more roast beef on them.
5 for $5.55 here in VA. But I would agree with the folks taht say the quality has ratched down some in recent years...
We should all honor the late and great Dave Thomas and walk into the store of the "enemy" and proclaim, "Where's the beef!"
But seriously, the roast beef on their sandwiches seems to have thinned out a bit over the years, literally. Man o' man, the old school 5 fer 5 was insane--those were piled high with goodness! Horsey sauce all the way!!

sounds good to me.. i've only eatan there once about 4-5 years ago. i believe it was the $5 for 5.. pretty good as i recall.. definately refreshing to eat something other than mcd or bk..

I just went there with 5 of my friends and we each got the 5 for $6 deal. It took them forever to get them sandwiches out.... ah, the life of a college student

Even though the size has shrunk, these things are still the best sandwiches around. They still beat the crap out of a Big Mac or anything taco bell can come up with. Burger King comes close, though.
hah. i remember the good ol' 5 for 5 days too. The meat was way better quality than these days. I haven't been there in ages! anyone know where one is in San Diego?????

the typical specials I would see posted are $5/5 Arby-Q's, $5/4 Regular Roast Beef and $5/3 Beef & Cheddar. they may have shrunk a tiny bit over the years, but they're still tasty. the regular roast beef is great with a packet of arby-q sauce and a packet of horsey sauce. nice quick snack from the refrigerator, too (after warming up a few seconds in the microwave). yum.
