Dude, you're not going to catch an STD from yourself, nor will you get yourself pregnant. You don't need condoms.

Baked/Mashed potatoes
Apple pie
Turkey

Those are the important ones - stuffing and other things are just gravy (Ha! Get it?).

But maybe he was considering using the condoms and turkey together?

I can't believe no one's said brussel sprouts yet. Those are a staple of Thanksgiving... well at least the Canadian one.

I really don't like thanksgiving food except for the desert. I find myself making a macaroni and turkey, or macaroni and ham sandwich. Its not bad.

Well, for the past 27 years I'd have to say turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy and my grandma's fantastic pies. This year though, the wife is making dahl, curry and chapati. My, things sure have changed :D

I am drinking a really nice '01 Pommard though.

firepot, aka firewok, aka http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shabu-shabu">Shabu-shabu</a> in japan.

my favorite meat is thinly sliced ribeye steak, with the dipping sauce made from sha-cha sauce, soy sauce, spring onion, and a raw egg yolk.

4 other items to go into the firepot,

fresh jumbo shrimp
fried taro
nokitake (????, Chinese- ???) mushroom
fried tofu

best when it is snowing outside.
