5-bits FID Override / Abit KD7

Hi. I've noticed that Abit Seems to be promoting what they call "ABIT 5-bits FID Override technology, users can get variety of CPU over-clocking sets." I would take this to mean that Abit has found a way to override the multiplyer locks on the AMD Processors. I can't seem to find any information on this anywhere out side of that one statement though. Can someone provide some more information on this?

When using a T-bred Athlon on seemingly any KT400 or nForce2 board, the CPU is unlocked by the mobo. No other mods are needed on the CPU bridges. As far as I've seen though, this will only work for T-breds, rev. A or B.
