Umm about my last post, turns out I had it set to 4AF but also the little box for to let the application decide was checked.

now for the interesting part, at least to me. I wanted to see if I could get playable frames with 4xAA so I did and there was no drop that I could see, still in the high 40s-60s, so I went up to 6AA and the frames diddnt even seem to drop so I maxed out all of my settings with everything on high and 6AA and I think the lowest Ive gotten was like 38fps and mostly in the mid 50s, completely playable for me. When I first got BF2 I could never have set things this high without stuttering and framerates in the low 20s, heck I couldnt go higher than 2AA and have it playable. Could this all be due to cat 5.9? anyone else get a sudden performace boost in BF2?

honestly it dosnt look that much better though. I can see the difference the AA makes but the extra lighting dosnt seem to do anything.

I thought that when I turned up AA, it look better, but I didn't see a performance drop or framerate drop either. I thought this was weird. The dynamic lighting kills my performance for some reason and I turned it off.
