With the 4 of them left, none have that "American Idol" image.
Clay....dorky, fruity looking dude.
Kim.....chubby, fat but decent looking.
Ruben.....great voice but common.
Joshua.....all country.
At least last yr, Kelly can sing and she's cute.
Also the Justin had that Idol look.
No one has that look and talent like last year but Ruben can sing like hell thought.

they wrote so many great songs yet clay and josh sang the same one???
clay: AWESOME first performance. like simon said, one of the best EVER. second left a little to be desired. it was a definite risk for him but he looked like he had fun doing it.
josh: totally redeemed himself tonite. he was more in the zone, didn't make his little constipated faces, worked the crowd, and sounded good.
ruben: same old. sounds great once again.
kim locke: i seriously want her gone. i don't think that she was anywhere good tonite and the three guys dominated.

Kim's face is so round, I'm like totally fixated on how it's funny looking. Like it was designed to be a narrow face with the eyes and nose and mouth kinda packed together, but then the sides just blew out. If you look at Ruben, his face is all round too, but his eyes and stuff seem more appropriately spaced.
I wonder how the US Marine Corps is handling Josh being gone so much.
From what I have heard, US Marines are backing Josh, that may be why he is not gone yet. The military is enjoying an all time high in the number of people supporting it, and Josh is getting the benefits of that, as well as his buddies throughout the military may bew voting for him. While Marines are supposed to adapt and overcome, he is not that adaptable when it comes to music. He is definately a country style of singer. I could see him onstage as an opener for Garth Brooks, he has that type of style and flair.
Kim did not sound good, BeeGees songs are not for her. She has way to much power in her voice. She does deserve some sort of singing/acting contract, but she is not as good as she could be. She could use some voice training. She has talent and someone somewhere should look at her not as an instant money maker, but a long term solid investment.
Ruben, has a great voice, and the ability to take any song and adapt it to his style. He deserves to win this. If all he did was sing soulful romance songs, he would have hit after hit. Ruben Stoddard the Velvet TeddyBear. Many people "romancing" to his music. He could be a quick money maker and a long term investment for some recording company.
Clay, he has matured, his stage presence is good, and he can work the crowd when he has to. Plus, he has eyes that could make just about any girl mel (my wife's words). He has a powerful voice, and since the beginning, he has matured and gained confidence, thus making him better over time. Record companies may be looking for someone like that, someone they can market and with some lessons and training, develope into a solid star.

Kimberly and Josh were in the bottom two - Josh got the boot. He was very classy about it IMO.
