standard edition is $25 at green man gaming. I think the steam version comes with the ascension pack. It comes with an extra bag?, which sounds like it could be useful.

I played the game for a lil bit. Honestly, if you are going to get the game you should get the CE. The mount and larger bag alone make it worth it. Soon as you get out of the noob area (like an hour/hour and a half) you find the first mailbox where you can get the mount and ride it right then.

The game is good, I enjoyed it, but it was to similar to WoW for my tastes when it got to the end game, but the lvln experience was top notch and made it worthwhile for that alone.

I picked up the CE from Amazon last week for $30. Friend of mine got it from Direct2Drive for the same price.

Came with the Ascension pack also, so that's a 10 slot bag, potions and some scrolls.
