5.1 Surround Sound System With HD DVD Player?

My current home theater set up.

Is there any way to keep my surround sound setup when changing to this HD DVD player?

It doesn't look like it. That receiver only has an analog input.

edit: you could get a new receiver and use the same speakers though.

of course he can. His receiver has an analog input with the HD DVD player having a analog output.

He didn't ask for surround(maybe he wanted to) but I took it to simply mean will he be able to pipe audio to the receiver from the HD DVD player.
