Well, I've been looking for a decent speaker set for a month now, but can't really find something that would be "just right".
Requirements are:
1) 5.1, decent quality. Not too picky since this is my first 5.1 set
2) Light color
3) Not too high a price (between $100 and $200)
Especially the second requirement is a major drawback since the majority of the speaker sets are in black. I have decided to just buy a set and paint the casings
So I'm currently left with:
Logitech X530
Genius SW-HF5.1 3000
I am more inclined to Genius since the fabric over the speakers is silver. That would mean easy painting while the Logitecs seem of higher quality, but practically impossible to paint. The geniuses also have 5.1 / AUX possibility which is just right for me (TV and comp). But the geniuses seem to be of really low quality judging from the pics of the remote and woofer front panel, so they scare me a little.
Does anyone have any experience with the Geniuses? Are they good?
I'm just about to buy them but can't find any decent review
Thanks,
Jure
