5.1 DVD Audio problem

Hi all, just got some new 5.1 speakers. Was testing them out on some dvd's and the weirdest thing happened. When i set the audio to 6-channel, which I presume is for 5.1, I can't hear the dialog at all. The center speaker is not vibrating at all. I have an Audigy Soundcard with latest drivers (which are still a year old anyway). Any ideas what is causing this? I know for a fact that the center speaker is working anyway because I can hear it when it is set to stereo mode.

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
