5.1 dvd audigy sound

i have oem audigy, pioneer 10x dvd, a radeon 7500, and creative inspire 5.1 5300 speakrs, and i cant get the dvd to plat 5.1 sound (dobly digital) how do i get it to work

I'm unfamiliar with those speakers. How do you have them hooked up to your audigy?

have three wires that hook to the front the rear and the digital (center/sub) connect there analog speakers

I got the monsoon 505 speakers with a audigy sound card in win xp and I can't get the center speakers to work.

im runnin xp too. and my audigy works fine but i cant find ne way to get the center to work, except with 5.1 music demo, dream music thing, and in the demos. i cant get it to work when i watch a dvd

i have the same speakers. but bought the mp3 audigy. it has the surround mixer. does your oem card came with that prog? it is needed to set your speakers to different modes (2.1 4.1 or 5.1 dolby digital). n also it can test all the channels.

one time, the test failed. my front right speaker died. i had to return the 5300. wit the replacement, everything is fine now.

so if u have the surround mixer program, turn on 5.1 mode, n hit "test." you'll hear a lady's voice announcing "front left, center, front right, rear left, rear right"

I did that, the voice comes over fine on all speakers its just that I can't get center to work with DVDs. or mp3s

and when I switch to digital only all I get is static

what software r u usin to play dvd?

im havin tons of probs with win media, but thats ok.
i use power dvd to play dvd. n winamp for mp3.

i use the ati dvd player with my radeon, yes my audigy came with the software

You might want to check out creative.com Go to the Europe support site.Click UK,for most of us.Then look for the forums listing.They have an Audigy forum. The US site doesn't have this feature!The software that you use to play dvds might not be compatible.Some oem versions are crippled!I think the support site is
