This is great imo. I signed up ages ago (also for 10,000 points), and I've never used it, but it hasn't changed anything else on my account, so why not? FWIW, 10,000 points is worth about $100 in terms of Amex rewards. Who doesn't like a free $100?

Then you may not qualify as this is for their charge card, not credit card.. All their charge cards have annual fee and I don't think you would not use the card you pay annual fee... Unless you just love to waste money for nothing every year, lol.
