5.0 mp camera = when shooting at 5 mp a lot of noise can occur if I don't hold the camera steady huh?

I'd think that you wouldn't get noise just blurry pictures.

You need to learn to shoot with the autofocus & adjust the shutter speed.

Try it with 8X zoom like my Nikon 5700, I use a tripod when I'm going to use extreme zoom.

Lose track of your other topic?

Graininess is a normal flaw due to low light. This has nothing to do with the resolution you use to shoot with. If the camera isn't held steady at slow shutter speeds, under 1/60s, you'll get blurring. Hell, you'll get blurred focus at 1/60s and up if your subject is moving fast enough. Experiment with the shutter priority setting tracking moving cars. You'll see as the shutter speed is increased, your pictures will get darker and more grainy, because not as much light is available, but the subject will be sharper.
