4x512 OCZ 3200 Plat Rev2 with MSI Neo2

I have 2x512 gigs of OCZ 3200 Plat Rev2 and I just bought 2 more sticks of the same kind. Now that 4x512 sticks are in I keep getting hard locks and I have to hard reboot. I have tried putting the timings on 2.5-3-3-8 and voltage at 2.75 running at 2T and it still does it. The timings were originally 2-2-2-5. I was wondering if I needed a specific set of timings and voltage for my motherboard with 4 sticks of RAM. Here is my setup.

Thanks.

MSI K8N Neo2 Plat
AMD 64 3500+
4x512 OCZ 3200 Plat Rev2
6800 Ultra
500 watt Ultra

What am I doing wrong?

Are you OC'ing at all, or is everything still at stock speeds?

Edit: Have you tried running with only the 2 new sticks? It's possible you have 1 or 2 bad sticks. Try running Memtest on the new sticks.

sometimes boards just have problems running 4 sticks of 512 or 1 gig. On my board, about 1 in every 10 bootups is wacky in some way, from not really noticeable wasys, to Windows wont boot up. I've pretty much narrowed it down to the mem, which i have 4 x 1 GB OCZ Plat 2-3-2-5 ram.

I've got bad new for you.

The Neo2 seems to be picky about RAM, especially 4 dimms. Either that, or it's partly disfunctional.

I had 4x512 MB Corsair Value Select when i first bought this PC (i'm using the same mobo as you).

It seemed somewhat stable at stock settings, but with even a small OC, it would become unstable with 4 dimms.
Took me forever to figure it out, but once i took out 2 of modules, all was well.

Sadly, i never could get it stable with all 4, so i sold all my Corsair VS & bought 2x1 GB Mushkin.

Moral of the story: 4x512 MB may work in your A64 mobo, but it also may not.
2x1 GB seems to cause a lot less issues.

Ahh, that's interesting.
I want to upgrade to 2GB myself but don't like the idea of 4x512, so I have decided to wait. Looks like I made the correct decision.

Hmm. I bought these sticks in July, I wonder if I can send them back to newegg and say they are bad and maybe I can get credit towrds 2x1 gig sticks. Thanks guys. Oh yea, and there is no oc on this RAM.
