4x4 simulation?

I think we have had a real lack of 4x4 off road simulation games. I have spent hours and hours on 4x4 evolution. But having a more recent up to date graphic wise sim would be so amazing.

I had more fun that I should have with a game called Master Rallye, but that came out a long time ago.

I played some of DIRT 2. The off road stuff in that game wasn't too bad, iirc.

Motorm4x: Offroad Extreme used to be on Steam, but I'm not sure it is anymore. It came out well after 4x4 Evolution.

Unfortunately, there's a severe lack of true offroad driving simulators out there. (As much as I enjoy the DiRT games, they don't count.)

I backed this game on Kickstarter, I'm so happy they succeeded.

Download the free tech demo and play around with it. Really cool offroad driving model and terrain deformation.

Rigs of Rods maybe? Though that is much more of a physics simulation than driving simulation, it does include driving on hills and mountains and such.
